Walk-In offers fees that are based on a sliding fee scale. Your fee will be established during your initial appointment.
Fees for booked appointments are payable each session by cash, Visa, MasterCard or Interac. Fees can now be paid online through e-transfer or credit card by Square. In order to provide efficient service, please inform our receptionist of any changes to your address or telephone.
Some programs and services are subsidized by various funders. We have funding arrangements with three levels of government for specific programs. We will always check to see if there is available funding for your issue.
Workplace Insurance of Employee Assistance Programs
If you have medical insurance through your work, or your educational institution you will need to provide the following information.
- Name of Insurance provider
- Coverage amount per calendar year
- Credential requirements for the counsellor
Your human resources or payroll department will be able to assist you in finding necessary information. You will need to pay for your counselling on the day of your session. We will then provide you with a receipt that includes your counsellor’s stamp (professional identification) so you can be reimbursed through your insurance provider. Family Counselling is not able to submit that invoicing to your provider on your behalf.
