Our non-violent choices programs are designed to educate, support and encourage those who have experienced violence in their lives by taking them through psychotherapeutic educational programming. These groups include:

  1. Partner Assault Response  (PAR) – A court mandated program of Education/Counselling for Men and Women who have been physically and/or emotionally abusive or controlling towards an intimate partner.
  2. Women Helping Women  An open support group for women survivors of domestic violence/abuse.
  3. Healthy Living:  Dealing with Anger  Join our Anger Management Group for males 16 and older to enhance your communication skills and learn safe ways for dealing with conflict.

We also offer the following groups on an occasional basis:

Suicide Bereavement Group

Active Parenting

Grandparent’s Group

Taming the Dragon – Our anxiety program for students under 12 years of age.  A new connection with Cambridge & North Dumfries Foundation enabled us to connect with Waterloo Region District School Board and, in turn, a number of elementary schools in Cambridge.  We now offer anxiety groups to students in eleven different schools.  Through those connections we are able to help create change in children’s lives and the lives of their family members.

Please feel free to contact reception at 519-621-5090 if you have any questions regarding any of our groups.
