Executive Director

Background: I have been the Executive Director of Porchlight since December, 2021. I was previously the Treasurer on our Board of Directors before leaving the board to assume this role. Over my career, I have been fortunate to hold a number of roles in the social support sector locally, including leadership roles with the Cambridge Food Bank, Bridges to Belonging, and Family and Children’s Services. Additionally, as a consultant I have worked with a wide variety of grassroots nonprofits in our community.

Personal Philosophy: The question I ask myself – and the organizations I lead – is “Is it charity, or is it justice?” Through my work I seek to create opportunities, partnerships, programs, and supports through a community development approach, always reflecting on how we can be partners and advocates with the people and communities we serve. Through my work I hope to contribute towards a more just, equitable, and sustainable community.
